We passed a lovely evening with Uni, Indian, Fullers ESB, and Talisker on the rocks. At some point, after we had finished discussing inappropriate activities with horses (and yes, Sir, I did say inappropriate), and how most everyone we know should live their lives (including, probably, you), we turned to the internets. There, Uni introduced us to Mary C. Matthews, the first vlogger I’ve been able to stand. And, when I say stand, please under-stand that we just mainlined fifty of her videos, and I was driving the computer.
Below is her submission to the 2007 HRC video patchwork project. But please don’t stop here. Go fall in love (and laughter) at Video Pancakes.

You have discovered a vlog by a lady that documents her life via the sounds of Sufjan Stevens and Jonathan Coulton. I love it.
Geek trivia – the song playing in the background of the “Marathon Sunday” video was the end-credits song for a game that came out last year called “Portal.” Yes. She is scoring her adventures to video game theme songs.
I love it a lot.
Yes, she is awesome!
